The elastic is carefully selected to retain its shape over time. But like any material used every day, it will naturally evolve over the years.

Yes. A Body Embrace will always move with you. It’s up to you to let it glide over your body and, for example, wear it crossed over your chest.

No. Our creations are for anyone who wishes to cultivate a gentle, intimate relationship with their body, regardless of their identity, body shape or personal story.

In Belgium, using durable materials sourced from environmentally responsible companies. Our beads are made in Bohemia following a centuries-old glassmaking tradition. Our cords come from a German manufacturer specialising in high-quality jewellery-making materials. Each Body Embrace is then assembled by hand in our Brussels workshop.

Waist and body adornments have existed for centuries across cultures around the world, carrying many different meanings.

Bodyful does not seek to reproduce these traditions or speak on their behalf. Our approach is a contemporary creation, born from a personal reflection on our relationship with the body, ritual, and the gentleness we can offer ourselves in everyday life.
